You Create. We Promote

“Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore”

— L. Frank Baum

Hey everyone in the webcomic community! Its been a year or so since my last email blast, but I wanted to make everyone aware of some changes that have been going on around here over the past few and Basto Media Inc have joined forces, the results of which some of you have already noticed with our more regular content schedule and daily advertising program.
Basto Media has the experience and manpower to help bring a more personal touch to the website and help make sure we’re doing everything possible to promote the webcomic community to the fullest extent TWC is capable of.With this merge, we’ve temporarily removed some of the “self management” pages and are instead doing these things via email. This is allowing us to move forward faster and make sure content is getting pushed out on a consistent basis. Hopefully everyone likes the changes, and more are coming. Not the more where I announce it, get lost in technical minutia, and then delay forever and end up rolling back most of my changes, no, no my friends, this is the “more” where a team of likeminded individuals working together with the same goal in mind push through technical and logistical boundaries and deliver you “more” on a regular basis. “more” content, “more” features, “more”.
Most of you will simply benefit from these changes. More content brings more visitors which will send more traffic to your sites. I’d like to ask those of you interested, to be “part” of the more. Want to be interviewed by Les? Let us know, it can only help send traffic to your site. Want help promoting a Kickstarter, new compilation release, or special anniversary? Let us know!

That’s right, the new direction we are taking is a much better hands on approach to give us the opportunity to share our experience with all you in hopes of better marketing the webcomic community.

As I said before, a lot of changes are coming our way and I understand that you may have some concerns or questions therefore for the next couple of weeks, we will be gathering your questions for a Q&A interview hosted by Les Major. Les will be gathering your questions and will perform an interview with myself and Marty Basto, President of Basto Media Inc. Hopefully, Marty and I will be able to answer all your questions and put any of your concerns at ease.

We’re all in this together and our goal is to unite this great community and continue to promote these great creations!

Ladies and Gentlemen, please forward any questions you have to Les Major at by February 15th and we will be posting the interview in our new article section on February 21st.

We want to hear from you, may it be questions, concerns or what you would like to have as part of this great community.

The changes have begun, yet we’re only at the tip of the iceberg!

See you all in the ranks!

Richard Mathis & Marty Basto

Is one of these imminent changes the fact that everyone (not just top 10) has visible banners now? Because I like it!
